What Are Functional Skills?
Functional Skills are nationally recognised qualifications in English and Maths. They are widely accepted by colleges, apprenticeship providers, and employers across the UK.
They are ideal for learners who:
• Need an alternative route to GCSE
• Have struggled in mainstream settings
• Are home educated
• Experience anxiety or EBSA
• Require smaller, structured teaching groups
• Need qualifications for post-16 progression
